YPF Tower

YPF Tower is a striking office skyscraper located in the vibrant Puerto Madero district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Designed by renowned architect César Pelli, this 160-meter tall building features 44 floors and was completed in 2008, making it the tallest office building in Argentina at the time. The tower serves as the headquarters for the Argentine national oil company, YPF, and is situated at the intersection of Macacha Güemes and Juana Manso streets. Notably, on May 25, 2012, the tower was illuminated in the colors of the Argentine flag to mark the 202nd anniversary of the country's self-governance following the nationalization of YPF. The building's construction cost approximately US$134 million, and it remains a significant landmark in Buenos Aires, reflecting both the city's modern architecture and its economic history.
