Fourth and Madison Building

The Fourth and Madison Building, a striking 40-story skyscraper in downtown Seattle, stands at 925 Fourth Avenue and was completed in 2002. It marked a significant architectural milestone as Seattle's first building over 500 feet in height in over a decade. Recognized for its excellence, it received the BOMA International Office Building of the Year Award in 2007. Visitors can enjoy a unique rooftop garden on the seventh floor, which serves as a privately owned public open space. The construction of this impressive structure involved complex engineering, including shoring around existing transit tunnels and a cantilever that extends over the Downtown YMCA.
