Japanese American Museum of San Jose

Founded in 1987, the Japanese American Museum of San Jose documents and preserves the history of Japanese Americans in the Santa Clara Valley and South Bay. Located near San Jose's historic Japantown, the museum at this site houses permanent and rotating exhibits, oral histories, photographs, and artifacts related to immigration, community institutions, and World War II incarceration. It functions as a research center and community hub for local Japanese American heritage.
