125 London Wall, also known as Alban Gate, is a striking postmodernist building located in the City of London. Completed in 1992, it features two twin towers designed by renowned architect Sir Terry Farrell, standing at 82 meters tall. The building is notable for its innovative design that bridges the urban divide created by the busy London Wall roadway, incorporating pedestrian-friendly spaces with shops and restaurants. Historically significant, the site was once part of the Roman settlement Londinium and underwent significant redevelopment after being damaged during The Blitz. Today, it serves as a prominent office space, previously housing the UK headquarters of JPMorgan Chase and currently accommodating Lloyds Banking Group. Its architectural significance has earned it recognition as one of the triumphs of recent UK architecture.
