Mocioni Palace

The Mocioni Palace, an 18th-century neoclassical building in Timișoara, Romania, was constructed by János Kőszeghy and served various purposes over the years, including housing the Timișana Bank from 1909 to 1913. The building featured a symmetrical façade with Corinthian columns and intricate architectural details. It was inherited by notable families and was a center for Timișoara's elite in the 19th century. Despite its historical significance, the palace was demolished in 1948, and the site is now occupied by the Bega Shopping Center, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers exploring the city's architectural heritage.
