San Francisco City Hall (1915 Beaux-Arts capitol building)

San Francisco City Hall at 1 Dr Carlton B Goodlett Place was completed in 1915 to replace the pre‑1906 City Hall destroyed in the earthquake and fire. The Beaux‑Arts building serves as the seat of municipal government and features a large masonry dome, which is taller than the dome of the U.S. Capitol.
