The Mirage Volcano

The Mirage opened on November 22, 1989, developed by Steve Wynn as a Polynesian-themed resort. Its artificial volcano in front of the property is a nightly pyrotechnic and water attraction that helped popularize spectacle-driven attractions on the Strip. The resort also hosted the Siegfried & Roy magic show, which became closely associated with the property.
