Woodland Farm–Leland House

The Woodland Farm–Leland House, located in Sherborn, Massachusetts, is a historic home dating back to around 1705. Originally built by Hopestill Leland, the house has undergone several expansions and renovations, showcasing a blend of architectural styles including Federal and Italianate. Notable features include its original clapboards, which have been covered with shingles, and its evolution from a three-bay structure to a five-bay house with additional wings. This historic site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture.
