Belasco Theatre

The Belasco Theatre is linked in theatrical lore to its founder, producer David Belasco, who died in 1931. Actors and crew have reported sightings of an elderly man in a rocking chair and other unexplained phenomena; such accounts are documented in theater histories and interviews. The theater opened in 1907 and retains stage equipment and design elements installed under Belasco, and paranormal interpretations of reported incidents are disputed.
