Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)

The Musical Instrument Museum opened in Phoenix in 2010 and documents instruments and musical traditions from around the world. Its exhibits present thousands of instruments and associated artifacts grouped by region and cultural context, with audio and video examples. MIM has become a major educational and research institution for global music history since its opening.
