Glenwood Cemetery (burial site of Howard Hughes)

Glenwood Cemetery & Funeral Home is the burial site of aviator and industrialist Howard R. Hughes (1905–1976) and numerous other notable Texans. The cemetery contains 19th- and 20th-century monuments and mausolea and continues to host funerary rituals, memorial services, and commemorations for prominent local figures. It is frequently cited in Houston histories for its historic grave markers and landscape.
