Cobangbang Ancestral House

The Cobangbang Ancestral House, built in 1930 by Aurelio Cobangbang, is a well-preserved heritage house located in the historic district of Santa Ana, Manila, which survived World War II. This two-storey structure features a unique blend of architectural elements, including a mezzanine, reinforced concrete walls, and a roof made of galvanized iron sheets. Inside, visitors can find antique furnishings, such as a Narra wood bed and a round dining table crafted from a Narra tree root. The house retains its original charm with traditional capiz windows and rare patterned glass, making it a fascinating site for tourists and researchers interested in Philippine heritage and architecture.
