Grand Building

The Grand Building, formerly known as the Grand Hotel, is a prominent structure located at the corner of Northumberland Avenue and the Strand in London, overlooking Trafalgar Square. Originally built between 1877 and 1881, it featured a grand facade and luxurious amenities, including a ballroom and a Winter Garden. After serving as a hotel until World War I, it was repurposed for various uses, including retail. Following a period of disrepair, the building was reconstructed in 1986, preserving its historic exterior. Today, it serves as office space, making it a notable landmark for tourists and researchers interested in London's architectural history and urban development.
