Oklahoma City National Memorial – Gates of Time and Survivor Tree

The outdoor memorial's Gates of Time are inscribed with the times '9:01' (the minute before the blast) and '9:03' (the minute after) to mark the bombing's moment. The site includes the Survivor Tree, an American elm that endured the blast, was rehabilitated, and now stands as a living symbol at the memorial. The Memorial and Museum occupy the original Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building site and the outdoor memorial opened in 2000.
