Seattle Great Wheel (Waterfront icon)

The Seattle Great Wheel opened in June 2012 on Pier 57 and is a 175-foot Ferris wheel offering enclosed gondolas with views of Elliott Bay and the downtown skyline. It quickly became a prominent visual feature of the central waterfront and a regular tourist attraction. The wheel operates year-round and is part of the Pier 57 attractions along Alaskan Way.
