Coit Tower murals and Telegraph Hill viewpoint

Coit Tower, funded by a bequest from Lillie Hitchcock Coit and completed in 1933, sits atop Telegraph Hill and provides panoramic views of the city and bay. Its interior murals were painted in 1934 by artists working under the Public Works of Art Project and depict California life during the Great Depression.
