Quadrangular Tower

The Quadrangular Tower, also known as the Keeper of the Fortress of Baku, is a historic stone keep located in the Old City of Baku, Azerbaijan. Built in the 14th century, this impressive structure served as a vital part of the city's defensive fortifications and was used as an armory during the Middle Ages. Standing 16 meters tall with walls 2 meters thick, the tower features a unique tunnel system that facilitated rapid movement of soldiers.
