Balai Pemuda

Balai Pemuda, originally built in 1907 as Simpangsche Societeit, is a historical building in Surabaya that served as a nightlife venue for European elites during the colonial era. Designed by Dutch architect Westmaes, it features a distinctive dome and has transformed into a vibrant cultural hub. Today, it hosts art events, houses the Surabaya Public Library, and includes an outdoor area with a food court and exhibition space.
