Stud Master's House

The Stud Master's House, located in Hillerød Municipality, Denmark, was built in 1723 for the stable master of the Royal Frederiksborg Stud, a prestigious horse breeding facility established in 1562. Designed by Royal Building Inspector Johan Cornelius Krieger, the house reflects the architectural style of the era and is similar to nearby Batzke's House. It served as a school in the 19th century and was listed as a protected building in 1919. The Frederiksborg Stud gained fame for its horses, particularly the 'white stud' used in royal parades, and played a significant role in the history of Danish horse breeding until its closure in 1894.
