Magoffin Home - 19th-century adobe frontier family house museum

The Magoffin Home is a preserved adobe house built in the late 1870s by the Magoffin family and is interpreted as an example of El Paso’s multicultural frontier domestic life. The site retains original architectural features and artifacts and is operated as a historic house museum that documents Anglo, Hispanic, and Mexican influences in the region. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a rare surviving example of a large, urban adobe residence from that period in El Paso.
