Hyde Street Pier and historic ships

Hyde Street Pier is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park and serves as a berth for several restored 19th- and early-20th-century vessels, including the square-rigged ship Balclutha and the schooner C.A. Thayer. The collection of operational and exhibit ships anchors much local maritime lore about the city’s sailing and shipping history.
