Wing Bowl (finals held at Wells Fargo Center)

Wing Bowl was an annual competitive-eating event founded in 1993 and organized by Philadelphia sports radio; its later finals were held at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia. The event became a large-scale indoor festival with thousands of attendees and media coverage before its final edition in 2018. Wing Bowl's format centered on a chicken-wing eating competition and accompanying festival-style programming at the arena.
