Pineda Palace

The Pineda Palace, a stunning neoclassical building in Valencia, Spain, was constructed between 1728 and 1733 for Francisco Salvador de Pineda, a prominent local official. Despite its grand origins, Pineda faced exile due to financial misconduct related to the palace's construction. Over the years, it served various purposes, including a convent and a nursing home, before being restored in the early 1990s. The palace features a symmetrical façade with two towers, balconies, and a central door adorned with a damaged coat of arms. Today, it houses classrooms and meeting rooms for educational and governmental use, making it a hub for the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and the Institut Valencià d'Administració Pública, while also offering a glimpse into Valencia's rich architectural history.
