Baronda

Baronda is a heritage-listed former holiday house located in the scenic Mimosa Rocks National Park on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Designed by architect Graeme Gunn and built between 1968 and 1969, this unique structure is also known as Yencken House. The site is rich in history, being situated in an area traditionally inhabited by the Djiringanj people, and it has witnessed significant interactions between Indigenous Australians and European settlers since the late 18th century. The property is now managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register in 2013. Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the surrounding national park while appreciating the cultural significance of this historic site.
