Philadelphia Museum of Art and the 'Rocky Steps'

The Philadelphia Museum of Art, located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, contains a collection of over 240,000 works spanning many periods and cultures. Its main exterior staircase, commonly called the 'Rocky Steps,' consists of 72 steps and was featured in the 1976 film Rocky, where the film's protagonist runs up them in a training montage.
