Gitelson Building

The Gitelson Building, located at 6505 W. Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, is a historic structure built in 1917. Originally a two-story commercial office and retail space with a brick exterior, it underwent a transformation in the 1920s to adopt a Spanish Colonial Revival style, although much of its ornamentation has since been removed. The building is part of the Hollywood Boulevard Commercial and Entertainment District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, although Gitelson itself is not considered a contributing property. In 2017, it was sold for $11.25 million, highlighting its ongoing significance in the area.
