Grand Army of the Republic Hall (Boise, Idaho)

The Grand Army of the Republic Hall, built in 1892, serves as a historic memorial to Union Army veterans of the Civil War. Located at 714 W. State Street in Boise, Idaho, it was the meeting place for Phil Sheridan GAR Post No. 4 and is one of 32 GAR halls in the state. The hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and is situated across from the Idaho State Capitol. Today, it houses administration offices for the University of Idaho, making it a notable site for both history enthusiasts and visitors to the area.
