Romare Bearden Park - Public art and sculpture installations

Romare Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte contains permanent sculptures and landscaped plaza features and has hosted temporary public-art and performance installations since its opening in 2010. The park was developed as part of the Levine Center for the Arts and is named for artist Romare Bearden. Its plazas and lawns are used for rotating outdoor artworks, community events and site-specific commissions.
