Levine Museum of the New South (named for Levine family philanthropists)

The Levine Museum of the New South interprets post–Civil War Southern history with a focus on Charlotte and the New South era. The museum carries the Levine name in recognition of major philanthropic support from the Levine family and local donors. It offers permanent and rotating exhibits on topics such as industrialization, race relations, and urban development in Charlotte.
