Chrysler Building

Designed by architect William Van Alen and completed in 1930, the Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper known for its stainless steel crown of radiating arches and triangular windows. It was the world's tallest building for a brief period before the completion of the Empire State Building in 1931. The building's ornamentation includes automotive-inspired motifs such as hubcaps and hood ornaments reflecting its original commission by the Chrysler Corporation.
