Haddenham Cabin

The Haddenham Cabin, situated in Fossil Butte National Monument near Kemmerer, Wyoming, is a historic A-frame cabin built around 1918 by David C. Haddenham. Recognized for its connection to fossil quarrying in the Green River Formation, the cabin served as a base for Haddenham, who supplied rare fossil specimens to various institutions. Located along the Quarry Trail, which leads to the site of a prehistoric lake, the cabin is approximately 2000 feet from the fossil quarry. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, highlighting its significance in the history of paleontology.
