Domino Park (former Domino Sugar site)

Domino Park opened in 2018 on the Williamsburg waterfront at the former Domino Sugar refinery site and incorporates remnants of the refinery, including visible sugar silos and industrial cranes. Its landscaped esplanade, playgrounds, and views of the Manhattan skyline quickly made it a popular subject for photography and social-media posts. The park's combination of industrial heritage and contemporary design has produced numerous widely shared images and visitor clips online.
