Burton Hardware Store

Burton Hardware Store, also known as Burton Brothers Hardware Store, was a historic commercial building in Seaford, Delaware, built around 1900. This two-story structure featured a low-pitched roof and a distinctive facade with an elaborate pressed metal cornice. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Unfortunately, the building suffered severe fire damage in 2012 and was subsequently demolished, marking the end of its storied presence in the community.
