Ichiro Suzuki's 10 Gold Glove awards as a Mariner

Ichiro Suzuki won 10 consecutive Rawlings Gold Glove Awards (2001–2010) as an outfielder while playing for the Seattle Mariners. During those seasons Ichiro played his home games at the Mariners' ballpark, originally named Safeco Field (renamed T-Mobile Park). The Gold Gloves recognize defensive excellence, and Ichiro's run of awards is one of the most notable defensive streaks by an outfielder in modern Major League Baseball. Ichiro's defensive and offensive contributions in Seattle made him one of the franchise's most celebrated players.
