Flamingo Las Vegas (opened 1946 by Bugsy Siegel)

The Flamingo Hotel opened on December 26, 1946; developer Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel is credited with completing the original resort. It is one of the earliest major resort-casinos on what became the Las Vegas Strip and is frequently cited as the oldest resort still operating on the Strip under its original name. The property retains historic associations with mid-20th-century Las Vegas development and organized-crime-era financing.
