Cilcain Hall

Cilcain Hall is a historic country house located just 2 miles north-northeast of the village of Cilcain in Flintshire, Wales. Constructed between 1875 and 1877 for W. B. Buddicom, the hall showcases the architectural style of its designer, John Douglas, who incorporated Elizabethan elements into the stone structure topped with a distinctive red tile roof. Although the entrance lodge designed by Douglas is no longer standing, the hall remains a notable example of 19th-century architecture in the region, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
