Trump Village

Trump Village is a notable residential complex located in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Completed in 1964, it consists of seven buildings and was developed by Fred Trump, the father of former President Donald Trump. Designed by architect Morris Lapidus, the complex was built on the site of the former Culver Depot at a cost of $70 million, with financial support from the New York State Housing Finance Agency. Interestingly, five of the buildings were part of the Mitchell-Lama Housing Program until 2007, making it a significant piece of New York's housing history. Unlike other Trump properties, this complex is uniquely named after Fred Trump, highlighting its historical and familial significance.
