Garrison Place

Garrison Place was a unique historic house located in rural Dallas County, Arkansas, built around 1861. This single-story braced-frame structure was notable for its weatherboard cladding and distinctive construction features that set it apart from other buildings of its time in the county. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, although it has since been demolished. The site, situated half a mile south of Highway 48, offers a glimpse into the architectural heritage of the 1860s in Arkansas.
