Peralta Adobe & Fallon House Historic Site-San Jose's earliest adobe and Victorian pair

The Peralta Adobe, built in 1797, is the oldest building in San Jose and is preserved alongside the 19th-century Fallon House as a museum complex documenting early Californio and Victorian-era civic life. The site offers guided tours and exhibits on the city's transition from Spanish and Mexican rule to American governance and urban development. Both structures are listed on local historic registers and are interpreted by History San José.
