Liberty Lunch (demolished music venue)

Liberty Lunch was a well-known downtown Austin music venue that occupied a converted warehouse and outdoor courtyard, hosting alternative and local acts. The venue ceased operations and the structure was demolished in 1999, removing the original entertainment space from the downtown landscape. Its closure and demolition are cited in accounts of Austin's changing live-music scene at the turn of the 21st century.
