Fenway Park - Ted Williams statue and legacy

Fenway Park, located at 4 Jersey St, opened in 1912 and is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium still in regular use. Ted Williams, a Boston native and Hall of Fame hitter, played the majority of his career at Fenway, and a bronze statue honoring Williams stands outside the ballpark near Gate D. The park is a central site for 20th-century and modern Boston sports history.
