The Dream Garden mosaic in the Curtis Center

The Dream Garden is a glass mosaic designed by artist Maxfield Parrish and executed by Tiffany Studios, installed in 1916 in the lobby of the Curtis Center. It was commissioned for the Curtis Publishing Company and remains in the building’s ground‑floor arcade. Because the artwork sits inside an office building lobby behind glass and is visible only during business hours, many visitors to downtown Philadelphia do not notice it.
