Lan Su Chinese Garden

Lan Su Chinese Garden opened in 2000 as a collaboration between Portland and Suzhou, China. The one-acre Suzhou-style garden in Old Town Chinatown was constructed with materials and craftsmen from Suzhou and recreates Ming Dynasty-era garden design. The site includes a teahouse, exhibition space, and cultural programming that interpret Chinese garden traditions for visitors.
