Roosevelt Warehouse

The Roosevelt Warehouse, also known as the Detroit Public Schools Book Depository, is a historic building located in Detroit, Michigan. Originally designed by Albert Kahn as a Post Office, it later served as a depository for surplus school equipment. After suffering significant damage from a fire in 1987 and years of abandonment, the building was revitalized by Ford Motor Company as part of the Michigan Central Mobility Innovation District. It now houses the Detroit headquarters of New Lab, a technology company, marking a new chapter in its storied history.
