Pinehurst Court

Pinehurst Court is a historic Victorian mansion block located in the vibrant Notting Hill area of London, originally built in the 1870s. Initially designed as single-family homes, the properties were subdivided into flats by the late 19th century due to economic challenges. The area experienced significant decline during the early 20th century, becoming known as a slum by the 1930s. However, following World War II and a series of ownership changes, Pinehurst Court underwent a revival in the 1980s and 1990s, reflecting the gentrification of Notting Hill. Today, it features around 105 modern flats and stands as a testament to the area's transformation into one of London's most fashionable neighborhoods, close to the famous Portobello Market.
