Elephant Tower, Carlsberg

The Elephant Tower, a striking landmark in the Carlsberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark, was completed in 1901 and features four large granite elephants that support the structure. Designed by architect Vilhelm Dahlerup, the tower showcases a colorful Historicist architectural style and originally served as a water tower and herb silo for the Carlsberg Brewery. Inspired by Bernini's famous elephant sculpture in Rome, the tower marks the brewery's entrance and is part of a redevelopment area that reflects the rich history of the brewery complex.
