Building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Building of the Presidency, located in the heart of Sarajevo, serves as the official residence of the collective Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Constructed between 1884 and 1886 in a Renaissance style, it has a rich history, originally serving as a headquarters for the Austro-Hungarian administration. Over the years, it has housed various government bodies, including the Constitutional Court and the Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The building is not only a political hub but also a venue for state functions and meetings with foreign dignitaries. Despite suffering damage during the Bosnian War and protests in 2014, it remains a significant symbol of the country's governance and history.
