Peter Augustus Maier House

The Peter Augustus Maier House, also known as the Maier-Pollard House, is a historic Italianate-style home located in Evansville, Indiana. Built in 1873, this 2+1⁄2-story brick dwelling features a distinctive low-pitched slate cross-gable roof, a bracketed cornice, and a paneled frieze. The property also includes a contributing carriage house and an original wrought iron fence. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
