Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens - NPS site for waterlilies and lotuses

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is a National Park Service site notable for its cultivated ponds of waterlilies and lotuses and for preserving tidal marsh habitat along the Anacostia River. It is the only unit of the National Park Service dedicated primarily to aquatic plants. The gardens are located in northeast Washington and are most spectacular in late summer when lotus flowers bloom, making them a relatively hidden seasonal attraction.
