Whitehall (Aiken County, South Carolina)

Whitehall is a historic Georgian Revival home in Aiken, South Carolina, built around 1928 for Robert R. McCormick, a Chicago Tribune owner. Designed by award-winning architect Willis Irvin, the one-story brick house features a U-shape, ornate woodwork possibly from the home of John C. Calhoun’s daughter, and a striking Doric portico.
